New Crypto-Exchanges Continue to Appear in the Territory of South Korea

Despite the fact that the government of South Korea is trying to limit the possibility of crypto-trading in every possible way, this does not prevent the opening of new trading platforms. After the introduction of a number of restrictions to replenish accounts on the exchange and withdraw funds in national currency, only the users of the four largest crypto-exchanges still have an option. These are such famous platforms as Coinone, Bithumb, Korbit and Upbit. They are serviced by authorized banks. The remaining exchanges have not yet been able to organize traders access to such services.

At the same time, the current situation did not become an obstacle to the opening of new crypto-exchanges. On February 12th, a new Zeniex platform began to operate with trading pairs on nine major tokens. It should be noted that the start of trading on the platform had to be postponed due to the introduction of new rules for regulating the market. Mr. Choi Kyung-jung, the head of the new exchange, noted that under the new conditions it became difficult to provide users with the whole range of services. This is primarily due to bureaucratic formalities and delays in opening accounts in banking structures.

As a reminder, a new launch is planned in the near future for another trading platform – Dexko, which has already started the preliminary registration.
