U.S. marshals to be auctioned nearly 4,000 confiscated bitcoins for cash

22 Jan Service U.S. marshals will auction 3813 bitcoins confiscated in criminal, civil and administrative cases, according to Reuters.

The upcoming auction will last six hours. The coins will be sold in the form of 11 blocks: five, 500 bitcoins, five 100 and one in the district 813 BTC. Minimum Deposit for those wishing to participate in the auction will be $200 thousand.
